R AutoSave works with the following file types: Opening project after Revit abnormal termination Select an action when re-open project after Revit abnormal termination Warning about enabling autosave only for open / saved projects after changing the settings Saving backup Revit files in the default folderĬlose all projects to enable/disable autosave Changes (including all automatic saving) will not be saved, only standard "manual" save will be saved. If you want to close a file without saving the changes you have made, just do it as usual. Select the option you want and you will restore the file. A dialog box appears with options for restoring the file. The backup files created during the "manual" saving (files like "Project ") will be stored by default in the "Backup" folder in the project directory.Īfter an emergency shutdown start Revit, and then open the file.
